Practical use…
Flatten out your carrier bag and cut into 3 strips. Then twist them in your hands until they were about a half an inch in diameter.
Then take masking tape and put small pieces (about an inch of tape) around the twisted plastic to keep it from unravelling and to help keep the size relatively consistent.
