Pollution is the introduction of contaminants into the natural environment that cause adverse change.

Across the UK a great deal of waste is buried on landfill sites. A lot of it, is not biodegradable and will never rot away.

The decomposition process can produce some fairly noxious smells, as well as methane gas. This is an explosive gas and contributes to global warming.

Recycling saves energy and water, lowers pollution and greenhouse gas emissions, improves air and water quality, preserves landfill space and conserves natural resources.

It doesn’t make sense to use paper, plastic, glass, aluminum, steel, and petroleum products once and then throw them away!

Recycling is important in today’s world if we want to leave this planet for our future generations.

If you are not throwing away any of your old product and instead utilising it for something new then you are actually recycling.

If you’re not convinced, please watch this…

I will now attempt to show you ways to “utilise it for something new”.
